This learning agenda identifies research activities that can inform the design, targeting, and effectiveness of training and technical assistance (TA) approaches.

Based on interviews with stakeholders from six different federal or philanthropic initiatives aimed at enhancing local cross-sector collaboration, this brief identifies a menu of six strategies - such as providing training and technical assistance or convening stakeholders - available to intermediary organizations to help facilitate local cross-sector collaboration.

This brief uses a literature review and interviews with TA providers and recipients to explore strategies for assessing recipients' needs for training and technical assistance (TA). It explores specific needs assessment strategies, such as structured needs assessment tools or hearing from recipients or program participants.

Market-based payment policies such as competitive bidding, reference pricing, centers of excellence and tiered provider networks have been implemented both in Medicare and across the private sector, as described in this report required by Executive Order 13890.

Many parents owing child support may struggle with housing instability, though little research has documented the extent of this phenomenon. This brief and infographic present estimates of the percentage of noncustodial parents who are eligible for and receive housing assistance.

Medicare covers prescription drugs provided during inpatient hospital and skilled nursing facility stays through Part A, retail prescription drugs through Part D, and drugs provided in physicians’ offices and hospital outpatient departments through Part B. Over the 2006-17 period, Medicare FFS Part B drugs spending per enrollee grew at 8.1 percent annually.

This factsheet provides descriptive information on child care eligibility and receipt. Of the 13.5 million children eligible for child care subsidies under federal rules, 14 percent received subsidies. Of the 8.7 million children eligible for child care subsidies under state rules, 22 percent received subsidies. Poorer children were more likely to receive subsidies than less poor children.
