Dramatic growth in the use of generic drugs has generated substantial savings for American consumers. To examine how the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) can encourage the use of generic drugs, the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) examined barriers to, and opportunities for, expanding the use of generic drugs.

The Federal Medical Assistance Percentages and Enhanced Federal Medical Assistance Percentages are calculated pursuant to the Social Security Act (the Act). These percentages will be effective from October 1 through September 30 of the indicated year.

IntroductionOn May 18, 2010, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation convened a Roundtable on Homeless Children. The purpose of the Roundtable was to understand the impact of homelessness on children, identify the resources currently available to address the needs of homeless children, and discuss opportunities for coordination.

The purpose of this initial review is to support the design of a potential future evaluation of the effects of LTC RAPs on apprentices and the program sponsors that administer or operate them.
