The purpose of this report is to analyze survey data collected from members of the federal family and compare their attitudes and opinions to those of individuals offered coverage in other public programs as well as those offered coverage in private sector employer-group settings. The analysis focuses no the attitudes, opinions and motivations of individuals who purchased and did not purchase policies, and on their experience with long-term care, and opinions about long-term care insurance.
